Its has been 70 years ago when leeuwarden was liberated by the canadian dragoons and for that did they move the defile from october to 15-04-2015. Several soldier got a medal and others were sworn in. all was performed in front of the eyes of a Canadian dragoon that liberated Leeuwarden.
